Is alcohol or smoking allowed on your buses?

Smoking is never allowed on our buses. Consumption of alcohol is allowed in moderation. All glass containers however, are strictly prohibited.

How can I pay for your service?

We accept all major credit cards, personal checks, company checks, etc.

Can I purchase just one or two seats for a trip?

No. Mountain View Tours is a charter bus company that charters out the entire bus to a party that needs ground transportation. We do not sell single seats on our buses.

Do I pay for parking, tolls, and other fees?

Yes, parking fees and other fees are generally paid by the client as each expense occurs. There are certain situations where fees are paid in advance and are included in the booking price. However, if these fees are not arranged in advance you will be responsible for them during the trip.

Do I need to tip the bus driver?

Tipping our drivers is always greatly appreciated. It is not required, however, if you feel that your driver met or exceeded your expectations we encourage you to tip accordingly. We ask that you keep in mind it is common to tip if our drivers are moving luggage for your group. While tipping is a great way to show your appreciation for your driver’s services, please note that it is entirely optional.

Do I need to book a hotel room for the bus driver?

We do ask that you provide your driver with a room of their own during overnight stays. This will ensure that they get the proper amount of rest in order to transport your group safely. So while you are making your group hotel arrangements please include a room for your bus operator. Don’t be afraid to inquire about either discounted rates or even a free room for your driver. Many times with large groups, hotels are able to comp the driver’s room.

How soon do I need to book?

It is never too early to book so we always encourage people to book as soon as they know they need chartered transportation. Usually six months in advanced is the best, however, there are times that we are able to book the day before. It varies depending on the situation so we invite you to call us at (800) 341-7406 or (520) 292-1183 and ask us to check our availability.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require that $100 is due should you cancel 14 days prior to departure, 50% of total booking cost if canceled within 7 days of departure, and the full payment is due if canceled within 3 days prior to departure.

When is the final payment due?

Typically final payments are to be received 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the date of departure.

How much of a deposit is required?

In general we require 25% of the total price as a deposit at the time of booking.
